Tomorrow is my last class at university, and naturally I have about 50 assignments due. Well, not 50, but you get the idea. Today I was writing one of the papers I have due and this is what I wrote for the first line of my conclusion.

This may be literary genius right here! lol

Food was a necessity for Aboriginal people.

You know, as opposed to the rest of us who don't need food. lol Or maybe I should just go with the idea that I like to state the obvious. *g* Yes, that sounds better. lol Like I said, this paper will definitely not be winning any awards.

Oh in other news, we once again have water leaking into the laundry room. It's not pouring like last time, but it has soaked the boards in the ceiling. It appears to be coming from the upstairs bathroom. It is times like this that I really wish hubby was a plumber.

I'm sick, like really sick.

On Friday night I began coming down with the flu and it seems like every day since I have just gotten worse and worse. To make everything worse, I have like 50 billion things to do for school, I had to go grocery shopping today since hubby can't really go to big, crowded places like that, I have my grandpa coming to stay with us for 5 days (long story), so I have to do something for dinner since oatmeal doesn't really fly with guests, and I have to go to work tomorrow night. All I want to do is crawl into a ball on the couch and sleep!

Sorry, this post really is pointless, I'm just feeling incredibly sorry for myself and felt the need to share it with someone.

I don't think I have been looking forward to a weekend so much in a long time. Not because of anything particularly special about this weekend, but because this past week has been so long!

Sunday is Valentine's Day though, and that makes me happy. Usually hubby and I go out for dinner, but this year, in an effort to save money, we are staying home and cooking a nice dinner instead. I've also been dropping hints that he should go pick up some yummy cupcakes for the occasion, but I'm not sure if he has picked up on them or not. *g* What are all you doing? Anyway have any exciting plans?

Oh, and for some reason I have the song "Tusk" by Fleetwood Mac replaying constantly on my Ipod. I don't know why, but I can't stop listening to it. lol It's been a long week.

Ok for any of you that have Facebook, do you like the new changes? I cannot stand them! Why oh why do they have to keep changing it?

I'm serious. Really. Why you might ask? Well, you see I make lists and plans for everything, (and yes, I do mean everything!). And well I kind of liked this idea, sort of. It had enough irony to be interesting....think about it....a list of lists, but I do not want to write a book. I do not however, have any problem of publishing a list of lists here. *g* Now this brings me to the real purpose of this post, a list. As a side note, I would like to say that I'm sick, and tired, and have had a little bit of wine, so if this is the stupidest thing ever, please tell me! *g*

So, my list for tonight, one that is currently inspired by my present situation...drum roll please......

A List of Procrastination When I am Supposed to be Studying for a Test
1. Make a list of things I do to procrastinate. *g*
2. Delete 167 messages out of my lj inbox.
3. Obsessively check FB.
4. Obsessively check my email.
5. Watch tv.
6. Read a blog or 2.
7. Remember I have forgotten to take my antibiotics tonight and get up and do that.
8. Check my lj flist.
9. Google celebrities for the Haiti thing.
10. Organize my school notes in my binder, because I may as well look like I'm studying.

My niece walked into the room when an episode of Friends was on and said, "isn't that the woman from Marley and Me?".

And I thought 12 years wasn't much.

Here are my "5 things" that I have done in January...

1)Started reading and have become addicted to the Twilight Series. *facepalms*
2)Embraced my "try cooking something new each week" resolution and made cider-glazed pork cutlets.
3)Went back to University.
4)Went to see "The Drowsy Chaperone"
5)Set up my interview with a school division.

Ok, back to work for me. *g*

...a couple of days ago and I may be a little bit further than I'd to care to admit, and I may be a little bit more hooked than I care to admit as well.

So, on Thursday I finally got all my Christmas cards finished and mailed. When I was addressing them, I realized how much I hate using my address book. I have decided that I want to make a version on my computer, however I'm not sure what program would work best for this. Does anyone know? Better yet, does anyone have all their addresses recorded on the computer and would like to give me pointers?

So, last week I finally decided to give into the overwhelming amount of peer pressure (seriously, it was coming from all angels), and finally decided to read the Twilight series. So tonight, at a family Christmas party I finally got my hands on the first book. My cousin lent it to me.

Just thought I would let people know. *g*

I have 15 days of school left!





Now I just have to figure out how I can finish a science unit and Charlotte's Web in that time. lol

...but I'm not. These actually made my day a little better today.

Today I finished my last 2 university assignments for this semester.

During the summer I decided it was time to change my header. As much as I still loved (and love) my PB/Michael and Sara header, I figured it was time for a change. marap offered to make me one, and I finally took her up on her offer. *g* She took what I wanted and made it even better than I had expected.

Now, go see!

Ok, so maybe that's not a secret! lol And I'm not totally finished classes, I have one semester left, but I am finished classes until January, which at this point, is just as exciting! *does happy dance again*

Me: So there is a Prison Break Behind the Scenes book.

Hubby: Ok

Me: And I want you to get it for me for Christmas.

Hubby: Ok

Me: But I don't actually want it for Christmas. I want to get it now, and we can just say it is part of my Christmas gift.

Hubby: Well where can we get it from?

Me: I heard that you can order it off Indigo for less than $30 including shipping. *waves to linzi20*

Hubby: Well maybe we can order some other stuff so we get the free shipping.

Me: *g*

I have been doing school work since 2:30pm. It's now 12:11am. You do the math.

I have completed 2 assignments, and am almost done my third. I just need to cut out and glue clue cards together.
