...but I'm not. These actually made my day a little better today.

Shamelessly gakked from [info]scribblecat. I just NEEDED to have these on my journal.

Me: So there is a Prison Break Behind the Scenes book.

Hubby: Ok

Me: And I want you to get it for me for Christmas.

Hubby: Ok

Me: But I don't actually want it for Christmas. I want to get it now, and we can just say it is part of my Christmas gift.

Hubby: Well where can we get it from?

Me: I heard that you can order it off Indigo for less than $30 including shipping. *waves to [info]linzi20*

Hubby: Well maybe we can order some other stuff so we get the free shipping.

Me: *g*

I'm sure some of you are getting sick of me, and my almost constant posting of the last few days. Trust me when I say that I need the distraction. I can actually see the end of my this week's school work, but for the life of me, I cannot make myself work (at least right now anyway), so I'm here, posting a meme. *g*

Stolen from [info]domfangirl

1) Post a list of up to 20 books/movies/anime/TV shows/video games/bands [fannish etc.] that you've had an obsessive fannish love or interest in at some time in your life.
2) Have your f-list guess your favorite character/member from each item.
3) When someone guesses correctly, strike through the item and put the name of your favorite character next to it.

I have been doing school work since 2:30pm. It's now 12:11am. You do the math.

I have completed 2 assignments, and am almost done my third. I just need to cut out and glue clue cards together.

My brain? It's fried.

I should be actually working on them.

Probably.

However, that would require effort and concentration, and since I have spent the last couple of hours working on said assignments, I need a break! So what better break than listing the pure craziness these next few weeks will entail for me. Don't worry (aka worry!), though, I have already made a schedule of when I will be working on each assignment. I am sure you are all shocked. *g*

Due this week
Tuesday:
-Nesbit Journal Reflection
-Nesbit lesson plans
Wednesday:
-Critical Commentary for my Language and Literacy Class
Thursday:
-Nesbit Journal Reflection
-Social Studies Learning Center
Friday:
-Math Lesson Plan
-Math Personal Reflection Journal (this I am about half way finished)
-Language and Literacy Letter Formation (done and handed in! YAY!)
-Children's Literature Bibliography (I've started this. I spent the entire afternoon on Friday in the library, finding books)
-Adapted Teaching Strategy on Autism

I was in a bookstore today looking at some travel books for next summer and on my way out I saw a ad. Apparently Diana Gabaldon will be in the city (at a bookstore, not the one I was in, but the same chain), to do a book signing! I love the Outlander series, well what I have read of it anyway. *g* I'm not sure if I will get a chance to go, but I've never been to a book signing, and I think it would be a neat experience.

So yesterday when hubby and I were watching Mad Men, one of the characters mentioned singing in the Tigertones. I'm sure you can think of the first connection I made. I think I missed a good two minutes of the show being giddy over this connection. lol

Ok, carry on. *g*

-Laundry. Both folding and washing.

-Making dinner. Wait, not that! I forgot, hubby called and said he will be late landscaping at my parents' (he is making them a retaining wall), so we are eating there. Phew!

-Cleaning, like everything...bathrooms, floors, dusting, you name it.

-Changing the calender from August to September. What? It's like 3 feet away and there is a desk in my way. lol

-Organizing the laundry room. Stuff is everywhere, seriously.

-Shopping. I have about 3 different places to go tonight including the mall, Walmart, and Chapters.

-Reading. That's probably self explanatory.

-Finding my passport. We are going to Fargo for the long weekend so I kind of need that. lol

What am I doing? Pointlessly spamming my flist apparently. lol I did go grocery shopping though. That has to count for something, right? *g*

So, on my travels the other day, I found myself on Wentworth St. I was trying to find an address to work with one of my students, and in my ever widening circles, I was on Wentworth St. several times. I have known where it was for awhile now, but had never driven on it. Of course now that I had, this called for texting and loling with [info]eight8toes, who convinced me that I needed to take a picture. So today, I was back working with that kid and after his appointment I took a little detour...

We also have a both a Purcell Ave. and Sara Ave. lol

Oh, I went to see Harry Potter last night. I really enjoyed it. *g*

I normally do not have a problem putting a character aside and watching an actor in a new role. This morning however, hubby and I started watching Mental. We have recorded the episodes and with nothing to watch, we decided to put it on while drinking our coffee and eating cereal. So what do I think of it? I'm not sure, because I can't figure out why Whistler and Haywire are hanging out together in a hospital in LA. lol

So I feel very left out of the lj world lately. Real life has sort of taken over and for reasons I am not quite sure of, it seems to have taken priority! lol It's mind boggling really. *g*

Anyway, I hope to catch up on the flist when I get home this evening, but for now...

I saw these pics on my flist last week and loved them, and really do I need a better excuse for shameless posting? *g*

One last thing...*throws confetti*
