Author's Note: This story is AU after the "I am happy" and "I love you's" on the beach in the finale. That means that Michael did not die and the nosebleed never occurred. It's the third story in The Gift of Time series. Once again I want to thank eight8toes for being my co-conspirator with this fic, even though it took me way too long to write. I also want to say that I feel sort of bad for posting my own fic when I am so desperately behind on reading other people's *cough*all 4 last chapters of Seven, and msgenevieve's new fic*cough*, but I will get there, I promise!
